Obituary

Elisa Espinosa, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on December 28, 2024. Born on March 3, 1963, Lisa spent her life bringing joy and love to all those around her. She was married to her devoted husband, Fermin Espinosa, for over 40 wonderful years. Together, they built a beautiful life in Pasadena, Texas. Retired and inseparable, Lisa and Fermin were not only partners in life but also best friends who shared countless memories and adventures. She loved her husband very much.

Lisa was more than a matriarch; she was the heart and soul of her family. She was a strong woman of faith. She had a deep belief in the Lord and was persistent about showing her faith in how she treated people. Romans 12: 6-8 says, " 6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully." She was a selfless and loving wife who made sure her husband, children and grandchildren and family had everything they needed. Her home was always open to everyone, and her kindness knew no bounds

Lisa was the proud and devoted mother of her two sons, Brandon and Aaron Espinosa. Brandon is married to Kaitlyn, and together they have one daughter, Karsyn Laine, with another blessing expected in August. Aaron is married to Leti, and they have a son, Aaron Jr., and a daughter, Lilliana Marie, due in May. Lisa embraced her role as "Nana" with endless love and dedication. She was the greatest grandmother, living for her family and especially her grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure. Her happiest moments were those spent surrounded by the laughter and love of her family.

Lisa was a huge sports fan, but her favorite teams were always the ones her sons were on or coaching. She attended every basketball game her sons played as kids, cheering them on and encouraging them to pursue athletics and education at the highest level. Her message to her sons was always that anything was possible with hard work and faith. Lisa was very proud that her sons followed their dreams of playing college basketball and graduating with a degree. More recently Lisa and Fermin spent countless weekends traveling to Dallas to attend their son's games as coaches, cheering them on from the stands with unwavering pride and enthusiasm. During her visits, she also dedicated her time to taking care of her grandchildren, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Fermin Espinosa; her sons, Brandon (Kaitlyn) Espinosa and Aaron (Leti) Espinosa; her grandchildren, Karsyn Espinosa, Aaron Espinosa Jr., with two more beautiful additions on the way; and her siblings, Ernesto Garcia, Edward Garcia, Jenny Garcia, David Garcia (Claudia), Christina Bishop (Russell), Domingo Saucedo (Tanya), Christopher Saucedo (Paola), and step-siblings Thomas Saucedo and Domingo Saucedo. She also leaves behind countless extended family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Lisa Espinosa's warmth, strength, and unwavering love will be deeply missed. Her beautiful personality and positive outlook on life was infectious. She made people feel loved and valued. Her unconditional love is something that will never be forgotten. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and the many lives she touched.
