Obituary

Vivian Cantu Fuller, 77, of Houston, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025. She was surrounded by family as she entered into her eternal rest. The second of seven daughters, Vivian (Vicki) was born on March 5, 1948 in Wharton, Texas to Jose and Anita Cantu. Growing up, she was an avid reader and enjoyed the fine arts, particularly theater. After graduating from Wharton High School, she attended Wharton Junior College and transferred to Texas A&I University in Kingsville, Texas.

Vicki started her career in San Antonio as a hairstylist and later transitioned into marketing. During this time, she met and married Edward Fuller. After they relocated to Houston, she worked in apartment management and soon found her niche in commercial and residential real estate. Working in the real estate industry provided opportunities to meet new and interesting people. Those who knew Vicki would agree that she loved engaging with people.

Vicki's greatest happiness came from spending time with her son and two granddaughters. She enjoyed reading, baking, gardening, and fishing. Whatever she was doing, she always took the opportunity to share the Word of God with those around her. She will be remembered for her deep-rooted faith and unwavering commitment to God.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

She is survived by her son, Joe Cantu; granddaughters, Rowan and Samantha; six sisters, five nieces, five nephews, and many cousins.

Vicki's Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 10:30 AM, at Greater Life Church, 1655 FM 528, Webster, Texas 77598.
