Licarione
July 24, 1959
Terri Marie Licarione
July 24, 1959 - September 19, 2023
Terri Marie Licarione, wife, mother and grandmother passed away surrounded by family on September 19th, 2023 after a courageous 19 -month battle with cancer.
She was born on July 24, 1959, to Angelo and Lillian (Schifani) Moscarelli, into a large loving Italian family in Southeast Houston. As an adult she became the social heart-beat, wise counselor and leader of family gatherings and guardian of traditions.
Terri was the life of the party, a skilled party planner, an exceptional chef, a loving mother and grandmother, a devoted daughter and wife, a caring sister, a true friend, a confidant, a teacher and an artist. Her counsel and guidance touched countless lives, and her legacy will forever be in the hearts of those she met.
After graduating from Mt. Carmel High School in '77, she married her true love and partner in life, husband of 43 years, William (Bill) Licarione. Terri pursued her passion for cosmetology, eventually establishing her own successful salon.
However, life had more in store for her. She found her true calling working in early childhood development at St. Helen Early Childhood Center. For 18 years, Terri dedicated herself to nurturing the growth and spiritual development of young hearts and minds. Her impact on countless children was immeasurable. She poured her wisdom and love into their lives, shaping futures and leaving an enduring legacy of care and education.
Terri's life was a testament of Christ-like compassion, grace, love and generosity. She had a razor-sharp wit and an infectious laugh. She loved travel, particularly alongside her husband, father, stepmother and children. An accomplished artist and chef, Terri's talents were always used for blessing others. Through memorable themed parties, holidays, thoughtful gestures, and delectable feasts that made family, friends, neighbors, and even strangers feel cherished and part of her extended family.
She leaves behind a void that can never be filled. She also leaves a legacy of love, generosity and warmth that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
