Obituary

Steven Ray Norman Adams was named after both of his grandfathers and born in Houston Texas on April 22nd, 1988 at Jefferson Davis Hospital. Steven weighed only 4 pounds 12 ounces at birth but hit the ground running. As a child Steven was intelligent and full of energy. Growing up, Steven enjoyed playing sports such as football and baseball. He was also a member of a La Porte cub scout troop. Steven attended the schools Bay Elementary, Seabrook Intermediate, Clear Lake High School. Steven wore many hats in his young life and had not yet found his niche.

As a child Steven is described by his family as having curly hair and enjoyed riding his bike and fishing. Steven was baptized as a child at New Hope Baptist Church in 1995 in Dickinson, Texas. As an adult he rededicated his life to Jesus Christ in 2015. Brother John Mayes from First Baptist Seabrook Church baptized Steven in Galveston Bay by Seabrook. Throughout his life Steven always had a heart for the Lord. He like to read his bible and learn about the teachings of Jesus Christ. His favorite bible quote was from Jeremiah 30:17, which he bared on his lower forearm. It read:
"For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the LORD".

Steven often turned to the lord for strength, healing, and comfort because he believed that God held the power to restore his soul. Steven is described by his friends as very deep and loved discussing philosophical ideas. Steven had a special relationship with animals. He was always willing to help animals and people as well. Steven had a kind heart. Steven was incredibly loved by his family and friends and will be missed dearly. Steven unfortunately passed away at the young age of 35 and still had a full life ahead of him. The news of Steven's passing brings great sorrow. Steven believed that Gods salvation was the only thing that could ever and would ever fulfill his soul. We know that Steven is now with the lord and full of the unconditional love his heart always desired. He is in the loving arms of our Father. Safe until we meet again.

Steven is survived by his father Ron Adams and stepmother Darla Adams and grandmother Virginia Adams who loved him dearly; Grandparents Raymond Adams, Phil Emigh, and Willis Scott; mother Teresa Emigh; older brother Ryan Adams and sister-in-law Shannon Adams; older sister Lacey Russell and brother-in-law Matt Russell; Stepsister Bridgett Beavers and brother-in-law Joseph Nguyen; younger brother Max Frost; Cousin Heather Hanagriff, her husband Jeremy Chagoya and their two children Declan and Beckett Chagoya; Steven was also an adored uncle to his nieces and nephews: Savana Meiners, Noah Alley, Bryson Nguyen, Shelby Russell, Mason Adams, and Julia Adams.

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall
not want. He maketh me to lie
down in green pastures; he
leadeth me beside still waters.
He restoreth my soul; he leadeth
me in the paths of righteousness
for His name's sake. Yea, though
I walk through the valley of the
shadow of death, I will fear no
evil; for thou art with me. Thy
rod and thy staff they comfort
me. Thou preparest a table
before me in the presence of
mine enemies; thou anointest
my head with oil; my cup
runneth over. Surely goodness
and mercy shall follow me all
the days of my life; and I will
dwell in the house of
the Lord forever.
