In loving memory of Shane Lee DeLeon, born February 27th, 2016 – July 9th, 2024.

Our sweet Shane, we called him our golden child because he simply was. He would radiate

a room with his glow and smile, and his infectious laughter and his pure heart. Unlike

most babies you would never hear Shane cry, he was happy and content as he grew onto

toddler years. He became and escape artist, he would get out of anything it didn't matter

what it was he was going to find a way from his crib to his highchair to his car seat. When

Shane first started school, he was ready and excited, and he had his big brother Daniel with

him by his side to walk him to class. In most recent years Shane loved going to church,

Restoration Church had a youth group service for kids ages 12-18 but Shane wanted to be

a part of whatever his big sister and big brother were doing so he would tag along. This

last Christmas Shane had the time of his life, the best Christmas ever. For his eighth

birthday we went to the Rodeo and saw For King & Country. We all had the time of our

lives, a moment to treasure. Some of Shane's favorite things were outer space,

Minecraft and enjoyed drawing and playing hide-in-seek. His favorite foods were

avocados, beans, and apples. His favorite sweets were anything Oreo, mostly Jack in the

Boxes Oreo milkshake and donuts with sprinkles. In Shane's passing he gave the ultimate

gift: life. Through organ donation he selflessly saved four precious lives and became a

miracle for them. His love, light, and generosity will continue to shine bright in our hearts

and his memory will be a blessing to us all.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 8706 Almeda Genoa Rd. Houston, Texas 77075.

Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 12 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 8601 Almeda Genoa Rd. Houston, Texas 77075
