IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rodelio L.
Sudario
December 17, 1942 – January 6, 2026
Rodelio Lim Sudario, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on January 06, 2026. Affectionately known as "Rodel," "Del," and "Tanny," he was born on December 17, 1942 in San Pablo City, Laguna, Philippines, and later made his home in Houston, Texas, where he built a life rooted in love, family, faith, and community.
Rodelio was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Felisa Sudario; his sister, Leticia; and his brothers Eugenio, Rolando, Jimmy, Roberto, Dominador, and Juanito.
He leaves behind his devoted wife of 53 years, Josephine Sudario; his daughters, Jean Johnson (Michael Johnson) and Juvy Sudario (Carlos Garza); his cherished grandchildren, Jazalyne Garza (Justin Turner), Ian Johnson, Makayla Johnson, MiaBella Garza, Angelique Garza (Zachary Martinez), and Shane Johnson Moody (Danielle Moody); and his treasured great-grandchildren, Cairo Turner and Noah Moody. He is also lovingly remembered by his in-laws, nieces and nephews, dear friends who loved and respected him, and his faithful pets, Rocky the dog and Leia the sugar glider.
A hardworking and dedicated man, Rodelio enjoyed a successful career as an Investor, Texas real estate agent, and Administrative Supervisor at Universal Weather & Aviation, where he worked until his retirement. He was actively involved in the community through the Lions Club and was well known for his kindness, sociable nature, and strong work ethic. He often joked that he was a "Jack of all trades, master of none," a phrase that reflected both his humility and his wide-ranging skills.
Rodelio was a proud sports fanatic who enjoyed wrestling, football, baseball, and basketball. He was also an avid television enthusiast, especially fond of The Amazing Race, Naked and Afraid, and Survivor. Above all, he treasured time spent with his family whose presence brought him joy. He was known for his favorite phrases, "Oh Summertime" and "Okiee dokie," which continue to echo in the hearts of those who loved him.
Rodelio's life was one of love, service, laughter, and Catholic faith. As Scripture reminds us: "For I am convinced that neither death nor life… will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38–39)
