Richard James Contreras
December 5, 1944 - February 20, 2024

"Richard J. Contreras, 79, of Houston, TX, passed away Tuesday, February 20th. He was born on December 5, 1944, to Bernard Sr. and Adelina Contreras. Richard is preceded in death by his parents and older brothers Robert and Bernard Contreras. Richard Contreras was a retired Houston Police Officer and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a man of strong convictions and had a love of family. Some of his hobbies included woodworkingand traveling the U.S. in his camper trailer with friends and family.

He is survived by his loving wife Ernestine Contreras; his sons, Richard Jr. and Rendell Contreras; His brothers Roland and Michael Contreras; and sister Diane. The Contreras family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation for the tremendous support and condolences. It has truly madea difference at this difficult time."
