Raymond Will Hlavaty Jr., 65, was reunited with his wife Bertha Alicia Hlavaty and his parents Raymond Sr. and Elsie Ann Hlavaty on Saturday, May 8, 2021. He retired from the trucking industry where he was proud to say that he was a member of the Teamsters Union. Raymond Hlavaty Jr. was survived by his children Becky Ann Villa (Carlos) and Raymond Hlavaty III (MaryJane); grandchildren Jacob Ramirez (Summer), Raul Villa Jr., Raymond Hlavaty IV, Destiny Zepeda, Arthur Torres and Sarah Reyes; great-grandchildren Jacob Ramirez Jr., Juliette Ramirez and AJ Ramirez.
Raymond Hlavaty was an extraordinary, congenial and good hearted person. He made friends everywhere he'd go and never met a stranger. One of his quotes was "Everybody loves Raymond" because he knew he was a likable person. He was also generous, he would give you the shirt off his back. Raymond loved his family and would do anythingand everything for them. He made sure his daughter graduated from high school. If she needed transportation to school or to work he was there. He was also very supportive of his son Raymond III graduating from St. Thomas University. He was very proud of his children and talked very highly of them. Some of his favorite times were barbequing, drinking beer, listening to classic rock, going to the drag races inBaytown and watching sports. He lived life to the fullest! His two favorite teams were the Green BayPackers and Kansas City Chiefs (not a big fan of the Texans). Raymond always had jokes, he would give nicknames to people for example he would call Carlos "Carl", Melissa "Missy", Cheryl "Cheryl Burke" (dancing with the stars), Destiny "Destiny's Child", Benji "Crazy Benji" etc. Raymond Will Hlavaty Jr. will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
