Peter Joel Tauber, age 66, passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 8, 2021, at Harbor Hospice, in Houston, TX. He was born on September 24, 1954 in Baraboo, WI to Ruth and Robert Tauber. He is survived by wife Tamara Morphis-Tauber, Daughters Rebecca Sliter-husband Lawrence Sliter, Rachel Horner-husband Patrick Horner II, Adrianna Morphis, and son Ty Melton-wife Karrye Baldwin. Grandchildren Kristian, Taylor, Alyssa and Mason Sliter, Cheyenne, Katelyn and Regan Horner and Tegan. Sister Linda Jorde and Rita. He is preceded in death by mother Ruth Slazak, father Robert Tauber. Brothers Paul and Ron Tauber, sister Barbara Tauber and wife Margie Tauber. Peter also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Peter grew up on a 160 acre farm in Baraboo, WI and left shortly after turning 18 to move to Texas where he spent the remainder of his time. He enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes, riding his Harley and had a great love for flying. He was a shy person but when you got him out, no one would know, and he always had a great time. He was loved by many and will be missed. More than he would ever believe.
