Pat was a teacher at Kinder Care for over 28 years. She loved her children!
She loved watching them grow and learn new things.
Having a big family made Pat a strong woman. She had beautiful children,
grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Anytime we got together it was like a party,
even if it was for something small -It was still a party.
Everyone who knew Pat knew she had a huge heart. So caring, loving and flat out wonderful. Always wanting to feed you. That's how she showed her love, by cooking.
If you knew Pat, you'd know she was always cleaning. Even when things weren't dirty or messy. She just always had to be doing something to keep herself busy. Pat loved, just loved plants and flowers. Especially flowers. If you went over, she would always have flowers on her table, even if that meant she'd buy them herself.
Pat had a love for the beach, being outside and having picnics in the yard. She loved her summer vacations in Florida and cherished her trips with her mom, brothers and sisters.
A recent trip with her brothers and sisters brought her so much happiness and laughter. She told us how her and her sisters annoyed their mom by saying sister this and sister that, over and over. She simply loved every minute of being together. Breakfast was her favorite meal of the day. She also loved her morning coffee dates.
The most important thing for Pat was spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was always the first one to send a Happy Birthday text to our family chat. At any given time, someone was always visiting or just stopping by to see what she was doing. Most of that time she would be cleaning, watching old black & white movies but most of all she would be listening to her music and gosh that volume was turned up! We could all be over at once, crowded in, talking, laughing and being loud but she didn't mind, that's what made her the happiest.
Pat helped so many people, especially in their time of need. No questions asked and most definitely without judgment. She would truly give you her last dollar, her last slice of bread, any and everything even if that meant she'd do without. It didn't matter to her. What mattered most was you had what you needed.
Pat is loved so greatly and always will be. She leaves a void in so many people's hearts, but Pat's memory will never ever be forgotten.
Mom, we love you so very much! We will deeply miss your early morning text saying, "Good morning family". "I hope you have a great day"!
