Natasha Jillian Bharath Gittens-Edgar was born on August 6, 1975, in Port of Spain, Trinidad, to Johnny Bharath and Annette (Gittens) Sealey. She moved to the U.S. around the age of 10 or 11 and settled in Houston, where she attended Hartman Middle School and Milby High School.

In 2003, Natasha met and fell in love with Martin Edgar. They married on November 22, 2006, and two years later welcomed their first child, Zaaid. They later had two more children, Gillian (Zaria) and Kenji. Natasha was a loving, devoted wife, friend, and mother who dedicated herself to ensuring her family's well-being. She was their caregiver, cheerleader, best friend, and haven.

Natasha will be greatly missed, and her impact on those around her will never be forgotten.

Natasha is preceded in death by her father, Johnny Bharath; her grandmother, Kathleen (Gittens) John; her sisters, Susan Sealy and Erica Byron; and her niece, Lydier Papin.

Her cherished memories will forever live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind: her spouse Martin Edgar; her children Zaaid, Zaria, and Kenji Edgar; her mother, Annette (Gittens) Sealey; her stepfather, Jerome Sealey; her siblings, Alicia Gittens, Alene, Johan, Kizzy King-Champan, Che Maurice Bharath, and Erica Bailey; her niece Abigail Benitez and nephew Felton Johnson III; as well as countless family members and friends.
