December 15, 1940 - August 3, 2021


On Monday August 3, 2021, Judy (as she was called) our loving mother, passed peacefully away at home. Judy was born December 15, 1940, in Houston, Texas to Aurelio and Julia Torres. Judy graduated from Huntsville High School and attended Durham Business College. She also raised two sons, John and Jona. Judy had a passion for reading Love Stories, Fiction Romance Novels, coloring and travel. She retired in 2018 from The Texas Dept. of Human Services where she worked for 37 years.

Judy is preceded in death by her father Aurelio Torres, mother Julia Salinas Torres, brothers Aurelio Jr. and Roy. She is survived by sons John Manuel Urdiales III, wife Bernadette, granddaughter Julia Megan Urdiales, Jona Michael Urdiales, grandson Jacob, Sean and Jaden Urdiales, brother Pete Torres, niece Annette, nephew Sam and numerous extended family members.
