Vega, Joe Alfredo, born to Herminio L. Vega and Beatriz Cruz, on September 11, 1976, has entered the Gates of Heaven as of September 17, 2021, at the age of 45.

Everyone who knew Joe knew that he was special in his own way. There were many things that he did not understand and is very well known for calling or texting anyone he could until he received the answers he sought. If he had a question that you couldn't answer because you were driving, his response was "drive safely".

Joe had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. He loved to work on cars and build things. If he didn't know how to fix it or build it, YouTube was his go-to for knowledge. In his spare time, he enjoyed wood working and everything technology.

Joe was preceded in death by his father Herminio L. Vega, sister Corina Gause, and nephew Isaac L. Vega. He is deeply loved and survived by his mother, Beatriz Cruz, siblings Ruben Vega (Cindy), Diana Herrera (Hector), Michael B. Vega, Tina Oliver, Clara Smither (Rodney), Martha Vega, Linda Vega (David Mitchell), Beatriz Vega, Reynaldo Vega, and Rogelio Vega. Joe leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Viewing services will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home located at 8706 Almeda-Genoa Rd, Houston, TX 77075 between 4pm-9pm and funeral services will be held at the same location on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 10am-1pm. Final place of rest will be at 1pm at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 8601 Almeda-Genoa Rd, Houston, TX 77075.
