IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jeffrey
Allen
May 7, 1958 – March 1, 2025
Born on May 7,1958 in Glasgow, Kentucky, to the late Hue Reed Allen and Doris Louella Allen. Jeffrey Allen attended Glasgow school when he was younger but later graduated from Metcalfe County School. Jeffrey accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Old Blue Springs in Knob Lick, Kentucky. He later joined the Army and left with an honorary discharge.
Jeffrey was a devoted companion, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and employee whose kindness, strength, and unwavering love left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He dedicated his life to a career at Dr. Pepper for over 20 years and had a passion for helping others, always leading with integrity and compassion. His sense of humor, wisdom, and generous heart made him a cherished presence in the lives of many. He loved to watch and talk about sports. He was a big UK fan of basketball and a Tennessee Titan fan when it came to football. He also loved talking about being a grandpa.
In addition to his parents, Jeffrey is proceeded in death by Conrad and Velma Crenshaw; daughter Latesha Carey; brother Donald Allen; sister-in-law Sylvia Allen; nephew Samuel Pendergrass; and brother-in-law Marlon Montgomery.
Above all, Jeffrey treasured his family. He took pride in being a family man. He is survived by his daughters Jevon Allen and Alexis Rowlett; his sons Carson Barlow and Draper Allen; brothers Charles Allen, James Allen , Billy Allen (Judy), Linwood Allen (Denise), John Allen and Ernest Allen (Anna); sisters Laura Smith, Shelby Howard, Mary Emma Montgomery, Wanda Wilson, America Shirley and Teresa Allen; grandchildren Londyn Henry, Adriana Smith, Karina Patlan, Draper Allen, Damarion Patlan, Addyson Allen, Kayonna Allen and a host of nieces and nephews who will forever hold his memory in their hearts. Though he has left this world, his love and lessons will live on in those he touched. We will cherish the memories. Gone but never forgotten.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on April 5, 2025, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Donations may be made to Jevon Allen in his honor as we strive to carry on his legacy.
His strength, love, and laughter will never be forgotten.
