Jason was a fan of the Texans and was so proud of this season's team. He also loved the water, whether it was Galveston or a river when he could fish. He said it was so calming.
His greatest joy in recent years has been his grandchildren. His love for them was endless, there was nothing he wouldn't do for them.
Can't leave out music. All kinds of music. He always had to have a good sound system in his cars to enjoy everything from rap or country to rock or soul.
He loved family, fishing, football, fun. That was Jason. He will truly be missed.
Jason is survived by his mother Claudette Shaffer; Daughter, Abby De los Santos (Juan), and Ashley Shaffer; Son, Jason Anthony Shaffer (Amber); Grandchildren, Jayden Garcia, Jaelynn Silva, Jazlynn Silva, Jocelyn Silva, Hailie Shaffer, Bailie Shaffer, Juan De los Santos Jr. & Bella De los Santos
