Hector L. Rivera Sr., age 76, of St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, passed away peacefully, October 20, 2024  at HCA Houston Southeast  Medical Hospital, in Pasadena, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. He was born to the late Virgilio Rivera and Esther Lugo on December 2, 1947. He is  preceded in death by his SON, Hector L. Rivera Jr. He is survived by his WIFE Ilda Iris Rivera, DAUGHTERS Teresita Rivera-Dowdy and Marisela Rivera.  BROTHER Cruz Rivera SONS IN LAW Kevin Dowdy and Calvin  Robinson,  GRANDCHILDREN Shermel Moven, Elizabeth Rivera, Marsierra Pierce,  Hector L. Rivera  III. Mark Pierce Jr.,  Tichelle M. Santos, Kahmaria Smith, Tyshawn Dowdy. BEST FRIENDS   Willy Ventura and Toby Tobias

His loving great grandchildren, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews and family  members and friends too numerous to mention.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. with a service at 12:30 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 8706 Almeda Genoa Rd. Houston,Texas 77075. Interment to follow at 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 8601 Almeda Genoa Rd. Houston, Texas 77075
