Donna Karen Bullard
July 29, 1949 – December 7, 2021

Donna Shotwell Bullard, daughter of the late Bill and Louise Shotwell was born July 29, 1949, in Hollywood, Florida. Her family moved to Houston at a young age. She attended the public schools of Harris County and was a graduate of Jesse H. Jones High School.

Donna suddenly departed this life Tuesday, December 7, 2021, while working at the restaurant she and David opened 15 years ago, the "Dixie Deli". She was united in holy matrimony to Charles David Bullard, on October 15, 1976. Soon after they married, they joined the Grace Memorial Baptist Church (located at 3614 Fairmont Parkway) where she was a dedicated member.

Donna was beautiful inside and out. She saw the beauty in others. There is something that she found to love in every one of us. She could speak up and was always a truth-teller. She was kind with her words and always generous with her grace.
She accepted us for what we were, flaws and all. She included us in her life with her presence, her love and encouragement. And her delicious Angel Eggs. She never wanted to give the devil credit for anything!!

Words cannot describe how much she will be missed.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her siblings:
William W. Shotwell, Harold L. (Cindy) Bullard, Tommy (Donna) Bullard, Gary (Louise) Bullard, Becky (Jim) Bullard Franklin, Susan Bullard Rodgers. She was loved by many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by a sister Linda Annett Shotwell, father-in-law Thomas H. Bullard, mother-in-law Mildred M. Bullard.
