Candelario Gonzalez, Jr., was taken too soon from his family and friends on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at the young age of 22. He was born in Houston, TX., on September 7, 2001, to his parents, Cristina and Candelario Gonzalez,Sr. He enjoyed fishing with his friends, swimming in the summer, Houston sports ( Astros & Texans specifically), cars, fashion (shoes & fitted hats more than the rest). He loved being with his bulldog Bruno and spending time with his friends on the weekends, being with his family & spending time with his life partner/ fiancé, Cecilia.
He is preceded in death by his grandmas, Maria Guadalupe Gonzalez and Maria Efigenia Pallares, his grandpa, Reymundo Gonzalez, Sr. and his uncles; Reymundo Gonzalez, Jr. and Alfredo Molina, and father-in-Law, Rodolfo Villa Duarte.
Candelario is survived by his parents, His Fiancé, Cecilia Villa, three sisters: Amonie and her husband Ricky Delgado, Mayra and her husband Seferino Ambriz and Chloe Gonzalez, one brother, Joe Andy Gonzalez. He also leaves nieces and nephews; Kayla and Kaylee Delgado, Fatima and Emiliano Ambriz, Nevaeh, Alizay, Ryan, and Avery Gonzalez. He also leaves behind seven aunts and four uncles. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 8706 Almeda Genoa Rd., Houston, Texas 77075. Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 9 a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 10 a.m.
