Calixto Salinas was born February 17, 1942 in Mexico and passed away February 23, 2021 in Pasadena, Texas. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was an at-home handyman, he fixed everything after he broke it (LOL). He was a great fishing buddy and kind of a hunting expert. Calixto was a humble man who would help anyone who was in need. He was a very patient man that dealt with his wife, WOW! He certainly got a metal for that! That's why he was so loved by his family, because of the little things that he did. His family will miss him dearly.

Calixto Salinas is survived by his wife, Maria G. Salinas; son, Hector Salinas; and his puppies, Chocolate and Peanut.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 27, 2021 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 8706 Almeda Genoa Rd., Houston, Texas 77075.
