Buster Lee Davis was born on March 7, 1941, to Roberta and Otis Davis. He grew up in Bastrop Louisiana with one sister and three brothers. He was the oldest sibling of Carolyn, Milton, Kenneth and David. He was a caring older brother who loved his parents and siblings dearly.

He was a devout Christian and considered becoming a minister of God. As a young person he wore thick glasses and struggled with his sight. At fourteen years old at a church revival, he prayed deeply for God to heal his vision. Shortly after he could see without his glasses he was cured, and he praised God for healing him.

He met a brown haired, green eyed, beautiful young lady named Bennie Faye Stephens at a local grocery store. They fell in love and on March 26, 1959, they married and began their lives together. They had six children Kathy, Theresa, Brenda, Mark, Donna and Cheryle. They moved to Houston Texas from their home state of Louisiana in 1964.

Buster worked as a parts department supervisor for various dealerships over the years until his retirement. He was a hard-working, loving man who cared for his wife and children. He was blessed with sixteen grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren. He enjoyed life and some of his favorite things were picking a guitar, good jokes, bowling, fishing, poker, woodwork, a cold beer and a good smoke. He lived a full life and regretted nothing.

On May 25, 2022, at the age of 81 Buster was surrounded by those he loved, and he passed from this Earth and entered Heaven. His family and friends will miss his smile and his easy-going nature. We are grateful for the years we had with him and in the famous words of Buster Lee Davis "it's time to go". We wish for peace and comfort as his family until we are reunited in Heaven again one day. We love you very much.
