Blas C. Rodriguez III, of Pasadena, TX passed away on February 14, 2024.

Eric or Hito, as he was affectionally called, was born to Blas C. Rodriguez Jr. and Leonor M. Rodriguez in Corpus Christi on March 23, 1959.

Eric moved to South Houston with his parents in1960. He lived in South Houston for most of his life, but he also lived in Pasadena and Nacogdoches, TX at one time in the early 80's.

Eric was a gifted salesman who started selling vacuum cleaners, as a teenager, door to door. He held many positions in sales throughout his career in the retail business. One of his most memorial jobs was when he made pizza pies at Giovanni's Flying Pizza in South Houston.

Eric loved his family, listening to rock and roll on his vinyl records collection, he loved fishing, he enjoyed cooking BBQ, playing card games, watching Houston sports, and just hanging around having a drink with his family and friends.

Eric is survived by his three children, Justin Robertson, Michelle Lee (Michael) and David Rodriguez (Courtney). His brother Arnold Rodriguez (Sara) and his sister Laura Hendricks. Grand children Kaitlyn, Konner, Allison, Quentin, Orie, Kinsley and Addelyn. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.

Eric is preceded in death by his parents.

There will not be a graveside service.
