Blanche Beatrice Cecelia Young, 47 years old and a resident of Missouri City, TX was called home by the Lord on September 21, 2020. Blanche was baptized at St. Cyril of Alexandria Catholic Church. At a young age in the 1980's with her widowed mother and family members, she moved to Houston, Texas, then Missouri City, Texas where she attended Willowridge High School, furthered her education in business and real estate at Houston Community College and the University of Houston and received her Real Estate License. She also received a Graphic Design degree from the Houston Art Institute. She was employed by United Equities, Inc.

Blanche was her formal name, but family and close friends called her Bea. She is survived by eight siblings: Vaneica Young, Eddie Young, Kathy Young, Lori Jansen, Janice Young, Leslye Young, Jesse Young, Vanessa Young. Her seven nieces and nephew: Angela Schmidt-Strickland (husband, Scott), Monica Meyer, Catherine St. John (husband, Dave), Phillip Young (wife, Holly), Nicole Jansen-White (husband, Philip), Corinne Jansen, and Gabrielle Young (fiancé, Alejandro) – Brother -in- Law, Robert Jansen and Sister-in-Law, Vickie Young.

Bea will always be remembered for her selflessness, willingness to help others, sense of humor, her joyous laughter and sparkling smile which never failed to light up a room and raise the spirits of others around her. She enjoyed contributing to and participating in family events and parties, Greek and Renaissance Festivals, baking and providing professional grade computer graphic family videos. She played classical flute, enjoyed sports, loved going fishing and playing trivia games. In addition, she volunteered for the Houston Food Bank and as a tutor for Literacy Advanced of Houston. Bea was simply special, a joy to be around, and she will be greatly missed and forever loved by all those who were blessed to know her.

A Private Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020, at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 8601 Almeda Genoa Rd., Houston, Texas 77075.
