Barbara Robles, age 58, of Pasadena, TX passed away on January 22, 2021. Barbara was born in Laurel, Mississippi on February 1, 1962 to her late parents, BessieArnaudand Noel Tolar. She grew up in Pasadena, TX alongside herfamilywhere she spent most of her life working for and serving her community.
She treasured being a mother and her legacy of compassion for others, finding humor even when things are hard, and leaning on the Lord for strengthwill live on through her two daughters.She loved her brothers and sisters tremendously and the bond with her siblings runs deep. While she was many things to many people, her most favorite role in life was being a grandmotherand she made sure her grandsons knew every day how much they were loved. She married Ricardo (Ricky) Zuniga on April 17, 2011; Barbara and Ricky went through life's triumphs and trials always at one another's side.
She worked many jobs throughout her life, but most recently she was proud to spend the last 8 years of her time working for the City of Pasadena in Parks & Recreation where she made meaningful relationships and touched many lives. She loved to laugh, never met a stranger, and was incredibly selfless. She is so loved and will be missed by many.
She is survived by Ricardo Zuniga (husband), Felicia Stubbs (daughter), Eric Stubbs (son-in-law), Timmy Stubbs (grandson), Crede Stubbs (grandson), Luke Stubbs (grandson), Cassy Hagler (daughter), Todd Hagler (son-in-law), Rebecca Tolar (sister), Richard Tolar (brother), Brenda Hicks (sister), Frances Mahdy (sister), Hazel Lyle (sister), Debra Jensen (sister), Samuel Tolar (brother),andJanet Clark (sister). She is preceded in death by Noel Tolar (father), Bessie Arnaud (mother), Sharon Dobbs (sister), and Donna Forester (sister).
A servicefor family and friendswill be held in celebration of her lifeat Noonon January 28, 2021at Old River Baptist Church 12948 FM 1409, Dayton, TX 77535.
