Antonio Flores Vela was born on November 28, 1943 in Kingsville, Texas and passed on July 26, 2021 in Houston, Texas.

He loved to garden and spend time canning his vegetables from his garden. Antonio loved to sing and dance with his grandkids and loved to tell his childhood stories to the family. He enjoyed Christmas music all year around and ran his wife out of the room when he watched black and white movies. He was an avid reader of history and true crime.

During his younger years, he had a collection of vintage cars. He spent a lot of time at his business "Tony's Pocket Billiards".

But most of all, he adored and loved his family.
We will miss him!

Antonio is survived by his wife, Lucia Ambriz Vela; children, Alicia Racanelli, Irma Vela, Antonio Vela Jr., Oscar Vela, Robert Vela and Ruben Vela; 19 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, and 2 on the way; Brothers, Andres, Cesario, Clemente; Sisters, Maria, Hilda and Juanita; Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins as well as numerous friends and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Jose and Rita Vela; Beloved Siblings, Jose Homero and Gloria.
