It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Angela Danell Grotts-Smith, age 53, on September 8th,2024 at 2:15am, in Pearland, TX. Angela was born on September 2,1971 in Houston, TX and was a long time resident of Pearland, TX.

Angela has a Bachelor's Degree on Criminal Justice. She was a Supervisor in Radiologic Physics in the Department of Radiation Physics at M.D Anderson Cancer Center for 26 years and 3 months. Angela also volunteered as a Child Advocate for children in foster care in Harris County, TX.

She loved her Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros.

Ange loved her children, family and friends more than anything. She is survived by her beloved husband, Charles Ray Smith, sons Hunter Ross and Micah Outterside. Stepson Charles Christopher Smith and grandson, Dominic.

She is also survived by her mother, Pat Brower and husband, Tim. Her father, James Grotts and wife Chrissie. Sisters, Billie Banks and Holly Grotts-Buck and brother Justin Grotts. Nephews Garron King, Grason Wolfe, Dylan Buck and Jackson Grotts; Nieces Julianne and Caroline Buck. Uncle Roy Paul and wife Beth, Aunts Sharon Williford and Linda Teale and husband Butch.

Angela was preceded in death by her grandparents, Horace and Betty Paul, JB and Eloise Grotts. Uncles Ronnie McClure, Bully and Jim Paul.

A memorial will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 1pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 8706 Almeda Genoa Rd., Houston, TX 77075.

A reception will follow immediately after, at Cooter Brown's Place, 2816 Manvel Road, Pearland, TX 77584.

Our hearts are heavy, but we take comfort in knowing that her legacy of love and kindness will live on in everyone who knew her and know her precious soul is at peace.
